INDIVIDUAL PSYCHOTHERAPY FOR ADULTS

A space where self-understanding becomes the first step back to yourself

ACTIVE LISTENING

I became a psychologist because I’ve always been drawn to truly seeing, listening, and understanding people. My work is about allowing you to express yourself freely - without rush or judgement - reconnect with what you genuinely feel, and rebuild trust in yourself.

SUPPORT

I believe in a world where people are truly heard. With deep respect for your own pace, I offer a space where whatever emerges is welcome. I walk alongside you with curiosity and care in the search for meaning, helping you find the way toward a future that feels aligned with who you are.

Adults

We work to make sense of what repeats itself, what hurts, or what feels confusing. Together, we look at how you’ve learned to relate to yourself and others, and how you’ve held yourself together in order to keep going. I meet you there - in your unique story.

Workshops

Collaboration with schools, bookshops, and creative spaces, offering workshops for adults who want to open up a shared space for reflection, care, and personal growth.

Júlia Cortina

For over a decade, I’ve supported people through life transitions, challenges, and moments of growth. My training began at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (BA in Psychology) and continued at Blanquerna University, where I completed a Master’s in Health & Psychotherapy and a Master’s in General Health Psychology.

Over time, I’ve woven together psychoanalytic perspectives, humanistic psychology, and trauma work to deepen my approach. Yet my greatest teachers have been life itself: the books that have inspired me, the wisdom of the body, and the people I’ve met along the way. Over the years, I’ve integrated practices such as writing and body awareness, which often prove deeply transformative. I understand that every journey is unique and that genuine transformation cannot be forced – it unfolds in its own time. I don’t rely on rigid formulas; instead, I bring in the tools that best serve your journey.

Having lived and studied in England for two years, I know first-hand what it’s like to navigate new cultures, languages, and ways of belonging. This experience has shaped my ability to support those going through migration, relocation, or the feeling of living “between worlds.” Today, I work both in-person and online, which allows me to accompany expatriates living in Barcelona, as well as people based elsewhere. I offer therapy in Spanish, Catalan, and English, adapting not only to language, but also to the cultural nuances that shape each person’s experience.
